About Kid Glove

Kid Glove is dedicated to building security awareness and cyber resilience against online threats. Children are among the most vulnerable users of cyberspace — curious to explore, eager to learn, and quick to try new technologies, often without realizing the risks.

While curiosity fuels learning, it also opens the door to dangers. That’s why the right guidance is essential — to help children enjoy the digital world safely, while protecting themselves from its hidden threats.

Vision & Mission

Vision

Kid Glove envisions creating a digitally safe generation where children, parents, and educators are aware of cyber risks and empowered to use the internet responsibly. The initiative aims to reduce cyber threats against young users by promoting safe digital behaviour and cyber awareness across schools and communities.

Mission

Kid Glove works to build cyber safety awareness through training, education, and community engagement. Kid Glove 2.0, inaugurated at c0c0n 2025 in Kochi, strengthens this mission by introducing the Kid Glove Kit, which includes a Student Curriculum, Educators’ Handbook, and Parents’ Handbook.

These resources are distributed to selected Cyber Police personnel, school teachers, psychiatrists, and coordinators of Kerala Government initiatives such as D-DAD, Koottu, DCRC, Snehitha, Social Policing, and Kudumbashree Mission.

Through Training of Trainers (ToT) programmes conducted by experienced professionals, activity-based master training is provided to ensure effective implementation in schools. The programme also includes the selection of Cyber Captains from each school, who will participate in a Cyber Summit and lead cyber awareness among students.

By continuing these initiatives in future academic years, Kid Glove aims to build a safe, responsible, and cyber-aware generation.

Kid Glove Objectives Are

  • To encourage students who would like to take up a career in cyber security.
  • To provide students with a hands-on environment, so they can practice what they learn.
  • To provide opportunities towards advanced research and publishing of papers for deserving students.
  • To provide a learning platform for schools to train their students in cyber security.
  • Increase campus awareness of information security through training and communication.
  • Register all schools from Kerala with the Kid Glove programme and achieve 100% cyber literacy.
